It scars and weakens the heart...。该片讲述塔卢拉从一位不负责任的母亲那里偷得婴儿后，当起假妈妈。佩吉饰演的塔卢拉无家可归，吃睡住皆在一辆货车上。而在华盛顿广场公园的戏份中，佩吉开始溺爱地照顾窃来的婴儿。。电影讲述的是在农村生活的青年诗人不听父亲的劝说毅然决定去牛市卖掉家里的牛。可是牛市的价格大跌，他决定带着牛前往各地想卖个好价钱。旅行途中他接到朋友妻子的电话，得知朋友去世的消息，赶往葬礼现场。想起曾经三人共度的年轻快乐时光，他答应要照顾朋友的妻子。于是两个人相伴与牛开始全国旅行……。
