【最後的伊甸園】（Sacred Planet）是迪士尼２００４年在美國推出上映的紀錄片，本片是一部ＩＭＡＸ超大螢幕電影，選在世界地球日４月２２日於全美的各大ＩＭＡＸ戲院上映。 迪士尼近年來投注許多心力在經營ＩＭＡＸ電影市場，包括在這類型戲院推出動畫電影【幻想曲２０００】、重映【美女與野獸】…等，或是推出專為此類戲院拍製的【深淵遊魂】、【黑神駒前傳】…等，【最後的伊甸園】就是迪士尼特別經營ＩＭＡＸ電影市場所推出的作品，只有在ＩＭＡＸ戲院推出，並沒有在其他一般的普通戲院上映。 【最後的伊甸園】全片的片長才四十幾分鐘，整部電影是以旁白方式引述的紀錄片電影，帶領觀眾探索許多人類現代文明尚未擴張的領域，包括大不列顛最古老的森林、極北的雪嶺、泰國境內的古代遺跡…等等，藉由傳統宗教的角度重新認識我們所居住的地球。全片走遍世界許多角落拍攝，採用特別的攝影...。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
