《纽约屁民》借动物之名含沙射影地展现了纽约这座糟糕城市中屁民一代的生活，是一部披着动画外衣的讽刺喜剧。。咖啡店新来的女招待有里（桂たまき 饰）是一个泼辣张扬的女孩，而在同一家店的糕点师阿健（林ゆたか 饰）则显得内向木讷。这两个性格迥异的人走在一起，雨夜归家途中，他们搭载了一名举止怪异的女子（山科ゆり 饰）。两人将女子赶下车，慌乱中将其误杀。杀人虽令他们恐慌，却同时让他们品尝到前所未有的刺激和快感。 为了寻求类似的快感，有里和阿健接连绑架并杀害了多名女性，手段残忍，无所不用其极。而在这一过程中，阿健似乎更加痴迷于此……。The 5×60 series, which has begun filming in Northern Ireland, is produced by Origin Pictures and is adapted by Fiona Seres.
