With his shaved head marked by a tattoo from his favorite film, 1951’s A Plac...。舞蹈家何丽（李颖 饰）抛弃了女儿丁小寒（陈乔恩 饰）和丈夫丁亦明（蒋恺 饰），只身一人来到英国深造，并且在那里生下了第二个女儿何菲（戴菲菲 饰）。在何菲十岁那年，何丽将她送回了国内的舞蹈学院上学，机缘巧合之下，何丽和妹妹丁小寒相识了。 何丽和丁小寒同时喜欢上了名叫杨睿（明道 饰）的男孩，面对两个同样娇俏可人的姑娘，杨睿不知道该如何选择。何菲成为了著名歌剧《图兰朵》中的女主角，然而在演出前期，她却因为胃疾复发而无缘舞台。作为她的替补，丁小寒获得了登上舞台的难能可贵的机会，然而，就在演出的最高潮，丁小寒的眼疾发作。。
